In Cycles, I address the various surrogates I have created and how they function in their respective settings. The narrative also reveals how the figures choose to interact with the landscape. From building architectural objects to engaging in rituals around trees, the characters within the stories are forever constructing systems of control for these environments. Similar to the way we incorporate architecture and design into our surroundings, these images are symbolic of the way man understands nature and the expanse of the terrain.
