The antrenna is comprised of two thoughts: an antenna and a tree. Living and growing up in Florida, I remember the building of cellular communication towers in the early to mid 90's to accommodate the ever growing cell phone craze. These towers, disguised to look like trees, were built along highways and residential areas and still used to this day. A wiry and minimal representation of a tree, its design is foreign and aerial like the towers I remember. Like a tombstone or totem, the antrenna is a memento of the tree. They are reminders of trees that have been cut by man or naturally fallen.
