The New Forests are bleak landscapes devoid of the human figure. Architectural and organic forms share the vista and redefine the purpose of these environments. I see these drawings as wastelands waiting to be rediscovered. These illustrations reveal the remnants of a world that has been bombarded with surrogates. The images all share an underlying theme of man versus nature, where combinations of natural and artificial elements come together to create an obscure yet familiar place.
